Best Homemade Body Scrubs for Dry Skin :-

1. Olive Oil and Sugar Body Scrub:

Beat all these ingredients: take about 2 tbsp. of olive oil, 1-3 drops of lavender essential, 1/2 cup of white cane sugar and 2 tbsp. of sweet almond oil in a bowl and then transfer this mixture into an airtight container. Leave this blended mixture for 2-3 weeks and keep it away from water. Use a tbsp. measure to take out the scrub and use it as a body scrub once or twice a week, just apply gently on skin and massage for few min then rinse off to get  a healthy and smooth skin.

2. Sugar, Olive Oil and Coffee Body Scrub :

This scrub is best for dry and damaged skin. Take about ¼ cup of ground coffee, 2 tbsp. of extra virgin olive oil , ¼ cup of sugar and 3 Vitamin E capsules (remove oil from the slit Vitamin E capsule) or you can also add 1-2 tsp. of vitamin 3 oil from bottle as well. Mix all the listed ingredients in a bowl (you can also add more oil if you feel that the mixture is too dry). Use this natural scrub on full body and massage gently for 10-15 secs, focused more on dry areas like elbows, knees etc. After massaging for few min rinse off the scrub using lukewarm water and apply moisturizer to preserve moisture in the skin. This scrub will positively make your skin silky smooth and glowing.

3. Sea Salt and Honey Body Scrub:

Take 1 Part of Sea salt and 2 parts of fresh pure honey in a bowl and mix properly then gently scrubs your body with it. Relax for few min then rinse off using lukewarm water and feel the change in your skin. Do not use this scrub on cracked and irritated skin areas. This body scrub is important for dry skin, since honey is extremely hydrating and sea salt will fawn away all the dryness and flakiness from the skin.

4. Spicy Sugar Body Scrub:

Have you ever thought that you can use spice to prepare scrub for your body skin? Yes you have to use spice to prepare this body scrub. Mix about 3/4 cup of sugar, 2 tsp. of ground cloves, 1 tbsp. of dry rose petals and 1 and 1/2 cups of sesame oil in a big bowl. Use this scrub on wet skin 2 times a week, apply scrub with your hands in circular motions for some time and rinse in a warm shower. Sugar feels marginally milder on the skin than salt.

5. Banana, Vanilla and Sugar Body Scrub

To prepare this body scrub all you need is 1 ripe banana, 3 tbsp. of ground sugar and ¼ tsp. of pure vanilla extract or any essential oil of your favorite. Crash the ingredients together using fork into a lumpy paste. Don’t over-mash the mixture as it may become too thin. Now scrub is ready to use, apply the scrub and gently massage over body. Leave for few secs and rinse off using warm water and moisturize the skin as usual. Repeat this treatment weekly 2 times for smooth and soft skin.

6. Citrus Salt or Sugar Body Scrub:

This scrub will wake you up, great for the morning shower or after sports. Take 1/2 cup of sea salt or sugar, 1/2 cup oil of your choice (jojoba, almond, olive) and 1 tsp. of citrus zest (lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit or a mix). Mix all the ingredients together. Then gently rub on skin while in the shower and rinse off with warm water.

7. Brown Sugar and Coconut Body Scrub:

Take about 1/2 cup of coconut oil, 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 tsp. of vanilla extract. Mix all the ingredients well and store in glass airtight jar. To use this scrub on dull skin in the shower gently rub scrub all over in firm and circular motions, leave fore few secs and then rinse off using warm water.
