Homemade Protein Masks For Dry and Damaged Hair

Homemade protein treatments are all natural and inexpensive, easy to prepare and with regular use will help you to get a long lasting effect.

Most standard benefits of using Homemade Hair Mask are that they don’t contain any harmful chemicals which can cause damage for the hair. It is actually fun preparing your own hair masks for your hair at home. Below are the few effective recipes of Homemade Protein Masks for Dry and Damaged Hair

1. Virgin Olive Oil, Raw Egg and Honey Mask:- 

Take about 5 tbsp. of olive oil, 2 tbsp. of honey and 2 raw eggs. Mix olive oil, honey and eggs and apply it thoroughly to your scalp and hair. Cover your hair with shower cap and allow it to set for 15 mins. After 15 mins, rinse your hair thoroughly with normal water. You can use mild shampoo one time as egg will leave little smell in your hair. Cinnamon powder can be used instead of egg for hair loss problem.

 2. Coconut Milk, Avocado and Olive Oil Mask:-

Take 1 ripe avocado and mash it, 1/2 cup canned coconut milk, 2 tbsp. of Extra Virgin olive oil.  Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Apply on coat shampooed hair and scalp, cover using shower cap and leave on for 20 mins. Rinse your hairs with normal water.

3. Egg & Yogurt (curds) Mask:-

Take 1 egg yolk and 6 tbsps. of plain yogurt (curds). Mix both the ingredients well and apply on your hair, cover with shower cap and leave on for 20 mins. Rinse with cool water and use shampoo and condition as usual.

4. Banana and Honey Mask:-

Take 1 banana and smash or blend it finely make sure that all the lumps of banana are smoothed out otherwise it may stuck in your hair. Then add 1 tbsp. of Honey to the blended banana and mix it well. Apply the Hair mask on your scalp and hair and cover your hair with a shower cap 15-20 mins. Then Rinse your hair and use mild shampoo or conditioner. You can also add few drops of lemon if you are facing dandruff problem.

5. Egg, Avocado, & Olive Oil Mask:-

Take 2 egg yolks, 2 tsp. of extra virgin olive oil, and ½ of a ripe avocado. Mash avocado and add olive oil and mix egg yolks. Apply this mask on scalp and hair, cover your hairs using shower cap and leave for 20 mins. Rinse your hairs using cold water and then use shampoo and condition as always.
